"80 Capriccios und andere Verstörungen"
In seiner großen Installation der "80 Capriccios" durchleuchtet Angus in Glas und lyrischem Text ein verunsichertes und gleichsam sakralisiertes Selbst der Gegenwart. Diesen Weg geht er nun auf Schloss Neuburg am Inn weiter. Den Kern der Solo-Ausstellung bildet ein repräsentativer Teil des Werkskorpus der “Capriccios“, um von dort noch „andere Verstörungen“ des aktuellen Menschen zwischen Selbstsuche und Krisenerleben zu befragen. Dabei zieht er alle Register auf und mit Glas und Papier, von Malerei, Collage und Glasradierung bis hin zum narrativen Text in Bleisatz und als Künstlerbuch.

In his large installation "80 Capriccios", Angus uses glass and lyrical text to illuminate an insecure and, as it were, sacralised contemporary self. He is now continuing along this path at Schloss Neuburg am Inn. The core of the solo exhibition is formed by a representative part of the "Capriccios" corpus of works in order to question "other disturbances" of the contemporary human being between self-searching and experiencing crisis. In doing so, he pulls out all the stops on and with glass and paper, from painting, collage and vitreography to narrative text in letterpress and artist's books.
